Studio Commissions
What is a studio commission?
A commission is when you formally request/hire an artist to create a custom piece of artwork just for you.
If you commission my work, know that I can complete a variety of subjects, including people, landscapes, pets, structures, cars, boats—anything! And I can work within a variety of sizes and mediums.
How It Works:
From formal wedding paintings and classical portraits—to car illustrations and pet studies, I am committed to bringing your artistic vision to life with years of painting experience and love for interesting colorways and impressionistic style.

Please submit a formal inquiry form below. The artist will then contact you within 48 hours with the most accurate price quote, and to discuss your painting vision and how to make it come to life.
Please also note that a 50% retainer fee would be required before the painting process begins.

Once the retainer is paid, Sally will begin the painting process. Depending on the custom piece you want created and with any deadlines in mind, turnaround time will vary—but Sally will give you an idea on when it will be completed.
2 rounds of feedback/revisions are included with a studio commission.

Once the final painting is completed and approved by the client, Sally will then varnish and seal the artwork.
If delivery location is within 50 miles of 92868, then delivery service is free. Any further and the painting will need to be picked up from Orange, CA or mailed at an additional rate.

5x7” = $20
8x10” = $40
9x12” = $45
11x14”= $75
All size options below can only be completed with acrylic or oil
16x20”= $150
18x24”= $300
24x30” = $400
30x40” = $500

Ink + Watercolor — +$10
Delicate linework with a wash of color for a stylistic look
Fastest turnaround time
Gouache + Pencil — +$20
Gouache is like a more opaque watercolor
Slightly more rendering of shapes/figures than ink+watercolor
More vibrant colors
Acrylic — +$40
Even more rendering of shapes
Lends to a more ‘painterly’ style
Faster turnaround time than oil (due to quick drying)
Oil — +$50
Best for portraits — allows for skinlike texture and softness to come through
Recommended option for realism
May need more time to complete due to slow dry-time of oil paints
